About this design

In Starlit Promise, stars appear one by one over a deep blue night sky and join into a heart-shaped constellation beneath a thin crescent moon, while a shooting star streaks past every so often.

Looking at the same stars is one of the oldest ways of feeling close to someone far away, so the design is especially loved by long-distance couples. It also suits anniversaries, when you’re counting the years like stars.

The constellation is drawn one star at a time, so the heart only appears at the end — a lovely reveal before a proposal, a reunion date or simply “I love you.” The deep blue night keeps the whole card calm and dreamy.

When to send it

  • Long-distance relationships and nights apart
  • Anniversaries and Valentine’s Day
  • A love note before sleep or after a long day
  • Promises, plans and “one day we’ll…” messages

Messages that suit this design

  • Same sky, same stars, same heart. Goodnight, my love — I’ll see you soon.
  • I’d connect every star in the sky to spell your name. Happy anniversary.
  • Make a wish on the shooting star. Mine is already here: it’s you.
  • Counting the nights until I see you, and loving you more with each one.
  • Every star tonight is one more reason I love you. Happy anniversary, my love.

Make it yours

Night-time sends feel special with this design: share the link before they go to bed. A gold ink matches the stars, and a message that ends with a plan (“see you on Friday”) turns the card into a small promise.
