How it works

They see a paper lantern glowing softly against a dusk sky, held low and waiting. When they tap, it's released and rises, slowly and slightly swaying, until it joins a sky of distant lanterns. As it climbs, your wish appears written on its paper by hand.

Yes. The lantern is quiet and slow, with soft sound that only plays if they turn it on. Many people write a name and a line of remembrance.
