About this design
In Crescent & Lanterns, a golden crescent moon rises inside a pointed arch while three lanterns lower on their chains and light up one by one, and stars twinkle softly in the deep blue night.
The crescent moon marks the start of the new month in the Islamic calendar, and lanterns are a familiar sign of Ramadan nights and Eid celebrations. Navy and gold give the card a festive, dignified feel that suits both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
The pointed arch recalls the doorways and windows of a mosque, and the lanterns light up one by one like lamps in the evening after iftar. It is calm and elegant, so it suits family elders and colleagues alike.
