Digital advent calendar
Write 24 little doors — love notes, coupons, memories, silly promises — and send them as one private link. One more door opens on their phone every day until Christmas Eve. Free, with no sign-up and no app to install.

They tap your link and find a calendar of 24 numbered doors, made for them, with your name on it. Today's door is gently lit; one tap and it swings open to show what you wrote for that day. Doors for the days ahead stay shut and say when they'll open, and if they start late, every earlier door is already waiting. On the last day comes the final door — with your photo behind it, if you added one.
Choose a classic advent calendar (24 doors from December 1) or a countdown to any day: a birthday, a trip, the day you finally see each other again.
Write behind the doors. Use your own words, or fill empty doors from the idea lists: love notes, coupons, ideas for him or for her.
Pick a look and preview it exactly as they'll see it, on any day you like. Nothing is sent until you're happy.
Create the private link and send it by WhatsApp, iMessage or email. Each door opens at midnight in their own time zone.

Stuck at door 7? Borrow from these lists — or tap “Fill with ideas” in the maker above and edit whatever you like. A mix works best: a love note, then a coupon, then a memory only the two of you share.
Short enough for a little door, big enough to make someone's morning.
For a boyfriend or husband: small promises, shared plans and a few reasons you love him.
For a girlfriend or wife: cozy evenings, little luxuries and things you don't say often enough.
Coupons are the classic advent filler: a promise they can redeem any time. Start with “Good for…” and keep it doable.

Not every advent calendar is romantic. These work for a sister, a best friend, a parent or a grandparent.
Tiny missions and treats for children who can't wait for Christmas. Read them out together each morning.
Switch to countdown mode and the same doors count down to any date: 7, 12 or 24 days until a birthday, a trip, a wedding, or the day a long-distance couple is finally together again. The last door opens on the big day itself.
A digital advent calendar is the gift you can still send on December 1 — or on the 5th, since earlier doors simply open at once. It suits long-distance partners, friends abroad, grandparents who live far away and anyone who'd love a small reason to smile each morning. There's nothing to mail and no box to fill.

Yes. Making and sending a calendar is free: no sign-up, no app, and no paid upgrade to share it. The calendar page your recipient opens carries no ads.
No. The link opens in any browser on a phone, tablet or computer. They can add it to their home screen to find it each morning, and add reminders to their own calendar app.
At midnight in the recipient's own time zone, one door a day from the first day you choose. Doors for days that have already passed open straight away, so a calendar sent late still works.
No. The doors are locked on our server: the words behind a door are only sent to their phone once that door's day has arrived.
Yes. The preview shows the calendar exactly as they'll see it on any day you pick — before it starts, on December 12, or with every door open. Nothing is sent until you create the link.
Once the link is created, share it from your phone's share menu — WhatsApp, iMessage, email, whatever you use — or simply copy it into a message. There's no email address to enter and nothing for them to sign up for.
Make it specific: “Good for breakfast in bed this weekend” lands better than “Good for something nice.” Say how to redeem it — “just ask” or “valid until the end of January” — and only promise what you'll actually do. Mix small gestures, time together and one or two bigger surprises, and scatter the coupons between love notes and memories so every door stays exciting.
Your calendar is saved under a private, unguessable link that isn't listed anywhere, so only people with the link can open it. We keep it for at least two years so it can be reopened, and delete it on request.

Tug the ribbon, lift the lid, a note rises out.

Washed ashore at golden hour, uncorked, unrolled.

A wish written on paper, released into the dusk.

Folded notes, one tap each: reasons, memories, promises.

Hand-tied in kraft paper; each flower opens in turn.

Sealed in wax until the day you choose.
